Selling on Amazon

A lot of our customers sell on Amazon, and the most common questions we get are about ungating, brand approval and authorization letters. We would rather answer them plainly here than have anyone order on the wrong assumption.

Please read before you order

  1. We do not provide brand authorization letters. We are a wholesale distributor, not a brand owner. We cannot issue a letter of authorization, an authorized-distributor certificate, or any document that grants you permission to sell a brand. Only the brand owner can do that.
  2. We cannot guarantee that Amazon will accept our invoices. Whether an invoice is accepted for ungating or brand approval is entirely Amazon's decision. It depends on the brand, the category, your account history and Amazon's own policies at that moment. We have no influence over it and we accept no responsibility for the outcome.

If your purchase only makes sense when the category gets ungated, please do not place it. Order what you can sell either way.

What we do provide

  • A proper commercial invoice for every order, showing our company name and address, the brand, the item descriptions with barcodes, the quantities and the prices you paid.
  • Clear product information up front — every price list gives the item, barcode, case size and price before you commit.
  • Honest answers about sourcing. Ask us where a particular brand comes from and we will tell you. If we cannot supply something, we will say so rather than take the order.

What we do not provide

  • Brand authorization letters or letters of authorization (LOA).
  • Authorized-distributor certificates for the brands we carry.
  • Any guarantee, promise or assurance that a marketplace will accept our invoice, ungate a category, or approve your application.
  • Responsibility for marketplace decisions about your account, including suspensions, rejected applications or removed listings.

If ungating is your goal

Check with Amazon before you buy. Ask them exactly what documentation they require for the brand and category you are targeting, and confirm whether a wholesale distributor invoice qualifies. Requirements differ by brand, and they change.

If Amazon tells you they need paperwork from the brand owner, that is what you need — and no distributor can supply it on the brand's behalf.

Still have a question?

Ask us before you order rather than after. We would much rather lose an order than have you buy stock on a false expectation.
